AIM OF THE PROJECT
This project aims to ensure the integration of disadvantaged individuals in the Gaziantep region through volunteering activities. Instilling the awareness of volunteering in the local people and young individuals during the implementation of the project.

IMPLEMENTATION
Volunteers organise activities to involve both asylum seekers and local kids to promote inclusion and a sense of sharing and feeling part of the community, while making them realize the importance of being active to improve the society and make a change in the current challenges. Activities are carried out in hospitals and dormitories to increase their sense of solidarity, awareness and social activism, while giving new perspectives and happy moments to the kids and the youth.

CONTRIBUTION OF VOLUNTEERS
Volunteer’s work gives young people the opportunity to discover all the chances to increase their skills thanks to the EU offers, such as ESC or E+, while exchanging ways of thinking, cultural insights, breaking stereotypes and leading to the intercultural dialogue, empowerment and civic engagement.

OUTPUTS OF THE PROJECT
Esc volunteers run book clubs for women to teach them how to read in English and to express opinions among them and create a sense of belonging and inclusion.
